Launch of & Other Stories in Spain and its new beauty line

Since the launch of the & Other Stories beauty line in 2013, AREA has worked alongside the brand to consolidate its presence in the Spanish market. Over the years, this product range has grown significantly, both in visibility and quality, featuring prominently in leading women's and lifestyle magazines. The brand has been featured in top beauty editorials and has established itself as a favorite among specialized editors. The brand has stood out not only for the quality of its products but also for its commitment to environmental protection and its innovative, clean packaging.

Opening of the store in Madrid

The opening of the & Other Stories store in Madrid marked a significant milestone for the brand in Spain. In 2019, a grand opening party was held at 15 Calle Hermosilla, attended by 800 attendees, including celebrities, editors, and stylists from the country's most influential magazines, blogs, and websites. The event featured interviews with renowned media outlets such as Telva, SMODA, El País, and Vogue.es, which helped generate significant media buzz.

The store, located in a restored historic 1920s building, formerly the Infanta Beatriz Theater, occupies a 900-square-meter space spread over three floors. The design of the space, which combines the theater's original structure with modern elements, such as the iconic mirrors and marble details created by Philippe Starck in the 1990s, provides a unique and welcoming environment for customers. The art installation by artist Nuria Mora, inspired by Scandinavian ice crystals and made from recycled & Other Stories paper bags, added a special touch to the event, reinforcing the brand's sustainable nature.

Reopening of the store in Barcelona

The & Other Stories store on Paseo de Gracia in Barcelona joined forces with artist Mercedes Bellido in a unique collaboration in Spain. A new store concept united art and fashion in stunning floral murals that led customers into the brand's universe. Inspired by the city's modern style, Mercedes Bellido created a design that exuded freshness and naturalness. To mark this renewed identity for the Barcelona store, AREA launched a key moment for & Other Stories in the Spanish market.

The reopening event was attended by more than 90 people, including key content creators and editors. The atmosphere curated by the agency also allowed for an original gathering, accompanied by a gastronomic offering and music by DJ Lola Bozzano. To strengthen and consolidate the & Other Stories concept, interviews were arranged in fashion and lifestyle media outlets such as Harper's Bazaar, Glamour, NEO2, and Yo Dona. Furthermore, the brand's identification and relationship with content creators and friends of the brand enabled a significant impact on social media, with more than 70 posts.
