'KLARNA' MOOD EVENTS


Klarna is on a mission to revolutionise the retail banking industry. With over 90 million active users worldwide and 2 million transactions per day, Klarna is one of the most valued private fintech companies in the world. AREA has collaborated with the brand in various events of different nature, always with the ultimate goal of generating brand awareness and gaining users and new partners. Likewise, through regular PR actions and an ongoing relationship with the press, we foster a close relationship with editors, influencers and KOLs.
The landing of AREA in Portugal was one of the first big events the AREA team prepared together with Klarna. The AREA Portugal team prepared an event divided into two sessions, one in the morning with the press, and another in the evening for its presentation to influencers. The meeting, held in a space that perfectly reflected the essence of the brand, brought together more than 90 people who enjoyed a show of Drags that helped to convey the main messages in the purest ‘bold’ and ‘quirky’ style so characteristic of Klarna.
The launch event in Lisbon has been followed by more actions, not only aimed at strengthening the relationship with the press in Spain, but also to help generate greater awareness of the brand in this market. For the celebration of Madrid es Moda, we gave shape to a Klarna branded space where we hosted together with PdPaola a workshop in which Natalia Cebrián advised the attendees of the event on the possible combinations of the brand’s jewelry with some garments of brands present in Klarna under the umbrella of Madrid es Moda.

Another of the events held with press and influencers to educate on the use of the Klarna app was a ‘Beauty Brunch’ around its report on beauty trends for 2022. The study was explained to the Spanish beauty press during a morning breakfast with the Klarna team and, that same morning, the influencers enjoyed a brunch and a make-up service in which, in addition to learning about the new trends included in the report, they could be made up by two professional MUAHs.
